Hape – a brand that can probably be found in almost every child’s bedroom. In addition to the founding brand, many other toy brands are now managed under the global parent company Toynamics Europe GmbH. As an international wooden toy manufacturer with a focus on high-quality and sustainable toys, the e-commerce strategy must also convey these quality features.
The requirement was to create greater online brand awareness and customer experience for the B2C target group. Other visions for the future included more flexibility and scalability for the international web store and offering users a more modern interface. We gladly accepted this challenge and implemented a new digital world in line with the “love, play, learn” motto for the family-run company.
Shopware 6 was the solution for scaling the store, enabling simple content maintenance and implementing a fresh design. The product and marketing data is automatically transferred from the PIM system Contentserv to the store via an interface developed in-house. By integrating and connecting various software solutions, we have technically succeeded in optimizing the B2C online processes – in various countries and languages. Graphically, we developed a rebranding that combines high-quality product images with a playful and lively design component.
We were able to create an individual brand universe with special functionalities for Hape. Our collaboration with the multi-brand distributor continues after this project. International online stores for other Toynamics toy brands, such as Korko and Senger, have already been implemented. We are delighted with the trust and satisfaction that we have been able to gain through our work and look forward to future projects.
