Challenge
Hape – a brand that is probably found in almost every child's room. In addition to the founding brand, many other toy brands are now operated under the global parent company Toynamics Europe GmbH. As an internationally operating wooden toy manufacturer focussing on high-quality and sustainable toys, the e-commerce strategy must also convey these quality characteristics.
The requirement was to create a higher online brand awareness and customer experience now also more strongly for the B2C target group. Further future visions included more flexibility and scalability for the international webshop and providing users with a more modern interface. We gladly accepted this challenge and implemented a new digital world entirely in line with the “love, play, learn” motto for the family-run company.
Process
Shopware 6 was the solution to scale the shop, enable easy content management, and implement a fresh design. The product and marketing data is automatically transferred from the PIM system Contentserv to the shop via a custom-developed interface. Through the integration and connection of various software solutions, we have technically succeeded in optimising B2C online processes – in various countries and languages. Visually, we have developed a rebranding that combines high-quality product images with a playful and vibrant design component.

Results
For Hape, we were able to create a unique brand universe with special functionalities. Our collaboration with the multi-brand distributor will continue after this project. International online shops for other toy brands from Toynamics, such as Korko and Senger, have already been implemented. We appreciate the trust and satisfaction that we have gained through our work and look forward to upcoming projects.
